SUMMARY OF POSITION: Must have Med Tech Experience

The C.N.A position is responsible for caring for the residents in the Wellness Department and those residents that may require care on a need by need basis. The candidate will be expected to provide care based on the specific needs of the individual within the scope of care of a C.N.A. (job description to be provided). The individual must possess a C.N.A certification and CPR certification. May be required to be certified in other areas where the Wellness Director sees fit.

The C.N.A. is responsible for a higher risk group of people and must be able to provide urgent care as needed. The individual must be able to prioritize well, organize themselves and others well and determine best course of action under high pressure situations.

The C.N.A. is also responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the department, including regular cleaning of resident rooms and department public space, laundry and other tasks as assigned by Wellness management.

We are looking for responsible, passionate people who like to work with elderly people and are committed to providing care. This requires an ability to be selfless and empathetic to the needs of others and a devotion to the work at hand.

The candidate must possess a good knowledge of care that is required of a C.N.A and have a valid/current certification, as well as CPR certification. Medication experience/Med Tech in a Senior Living Facility is preferred. Must be an organized individual that is capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking many different things.

WHO WE ARE:
Mount Vernon Towers is an active seniors community that has 300 condominiums that our residents own or lease. We provide a restaurant within the facility called, Table 300 that serves three meal periods and snacks throughout the day. Our facility offers a wide range of activities and things for the residents to do.
