At CHA, we believe in responsibly improving the world we live in, and we ask our team to aspire to that ideal every day. At the foundation of our responsibility is our commitment to inclusion and diversity and choosing to treat everyone with dignity and equality. We also take accountability for making decisions that promote sustainability in our business and our designs. We are on a mission to reduce our environmental footprint and bring greener solutions to our clients. We believe it is our responsibility and work to do that each and every day.

We offer most employees the option of a hybrid schedule with a work week that includes both office and work from home days

At CHA, you can build a career and find your passion across our diverse business lines and project teams. Being part of CHA means being part of a team of talented professionals, where you'll find support for your career growth and the opportunity to impact our industry and our communities. Find your "why" at CHA!

The Learning & Development Manager will lead the design, development, and delivery of best-in-class solutions that support desired business and performance outcomes. This position will be responsible for identifying and addressing training needs, maintaining a consistent culture regarding training, and overseeing the effectiveness of training programs, outcomes, and resources.

With a focus always on strong employee engagement, a successful individual will have excellent project management skills and be able to think big, while also being intimately involved in end-to-end execution. Cultivating collaborative relationships with CHA leadership and HR team members will be critical as we work to create learning and development opportunities that improve performance, retention, and our overall employee experience.

This role will be accountable for driving new initiatives and projects in areas such as culture, diversity, recognition, and leadership development, as well as analyzing current programs and recommending enhancements based on best practices. This is a great opportunity to be a key organizational leader in a fast-paced, growing environment, helping people to successfully join and then thrive at CHA.

About the Talent Management Team:

* We pay attention to detail and have pride in the work we do, knowing that our team helps provides peace of mind to clients and team members alike
* We believe that precedent is not best practice-we are constantly striving to improve our own workflow
* We have a wide scope of responsibility, serving as the chief subject matter experts on all things human resources
* We're a lean team and each one of us is excited to pitch in wherever
* We assume positive intentions and employ our varied professional backgrounds to help one another grow

* You have Bachelors' Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (required)
* You have over 10 years of experience working in human resources, including developing and implementing key talent programs such as employee training, leadership development, inclusion and diversity, recognition, etc.
* You have some prior experience leading others, ideally directly, but indirectly could work as well
* You create strong project plans and can execute them, always with strong attention to detail and commitment to timelines.
* You can describe the core characteristics that lead to high levels of performance and suggest specific approaches to increase workforce engagement
* You take pride in building strong relationships with people across the organization.
* You possess strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
* You believe that human resources professionals should seek to understand business goals and apply a data-driven approach to effectively advise on core people issues
* You have strong verbal and written communication skills and are able synthesize complex information into easily digestible insights
* You are committed to protecting confidential information and act with integrity-choosing courage over comfort, pursuing what is right over what is easy, and practicing company values rather than simply professing them

At CHA, we are helping to build a world where thought leadership, social responsibility, and diversity thrive, and we are committed to recruiting, developing, and retaining a highly talented and diverse team of individuals to help us do it. Our aspiration to responsibly improve the world we live in - combined with hiring practices, training opportunities, and engagement with our communities - reflect a company culture that is progressive and forward leaning.

We as an organization celebrate the values of inclusion and equality, and advocate for the full participation of all people in an environment free of discrimination. To support these values, we invite all qualified applicants to be considered for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
