Job Description:
Cox Automotive, a dominant provider in automotive services and
solutions, is seeking an experienced Sr Site Reliability Engineer
to enhance the stability, scalability, and performance of our IT
systems. This role is pivotal in optimizing our technological
solutions that assist car manufacturers, dealers, and buyers. The
successful candidate will apply engineering and software
development principles to solve complex issues in our operations,
ensuring robust, efficient, and continuous delivery of services.
Develop, scale, and automate IT operations to ensure seamless
functionality across various platforms. Implement robust monitoring
and alerting tools to proactively detect and resolve issues.
Collaborate with development teams to architect systems that are
inherently scalable and reliable. Continuously evaluate and
incorporate new technologies to enhance system reliability and
performance. Lead post-mortem analysis and create preventive
measures for future incidents. Manage cloud infrastructure and
service deployment to maximize uptime and cost-efficiency Document
system architectures and operations procedures for clear
understanding and compliance. Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS,
Azure, Google Cloud) Strong background in programming/scripting
(Python, Ruby, Go) Proficiency in using and managing CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, GitLab) Experience with configuration management tools
(Ansible, Chef, Puppet) Solid understanding of container
orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) Medical Insurance Dental
