About the RoleWe are looking for a proven Leader who leads from the front and possesses a true builder mentality. This is an opportunity to lead an 80+ person Home Advisor (Sales) team that is the front-lines for our customer experience. You will lead a team of managers and be responsible for a broader organization, and you will recruit, train, coach and manage a team that is focused on delighting and converting customers. This role will report into the Head of Customer Experience and lead team members in Phoenix, Dallas and Atlanta.As Opendoors Head of Sales You Will:

  • Manage and lead a rapidly growing team of Home Advisors across all aspects of the business, directly leading a team of managers but ultimately accountable for an 80+ person team that is scaling fast.
  • Partner with executives and business partners to drive cross-functional change and alignment.
  • Build and scale the organization while maintaining service level agreements and customer response times.
  • Own performance for home acquisitions and resales across the entire company, communicating and reporting to executives on business unit performance.
  • Protect and grow our core customer experience and brand loyalty metrics.
  • Identify and shine a light on operational seams negatively impacting customer experience and work cross-functionally to improve.
  • Gather and synthesize customer insights to help our product and marketing teams deliver a robust online and offline customer experience.
  • Drive alignment with company values through recruiting, hiring and all customer interactions.
  • Prioritize coaching, mentorship and performance management opportunities.Requirements:
    • 7-10+ years of proven sales leadership.
    • Obsession with customer delight and continually elevating customer experience standards.
    • Experience developing and implementing sales processes and systems through diving into detail and making improvements.
    • Proven track record of holding team to high expectations and exceeding sales targets.
    • Ability to operate in rapidly scaling, high-growth environment.
    • Consultative sales and negotiation acumen.
    • Hands on manager with strong coaching abilities.
    • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
