SUMMARY Focus on key business development initiatives to expand JLG's market share in the industrial segment through education, advocacy, product knowledge, customer service, and assisting the sales team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Expand both traditional and non-traditional channels of distribution Participate in industry trade shows and customer events Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates Communicate key customer, market trends/actions, and economic changes to senior management Provide expert customer service and market insights to accelerate product adoption Manage staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program Assist with sales forecasting activities and determine sales objectives Competitive intelligence - monitor and evaluate competitive activities Develop and deliver presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives All other duties and responsibilities that are reasonably assigned by the employer or its designee BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in related field 5-plus years related experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to travel 50% - 75% of the time and/or relocate
