Account Manager is responsible for expanding the companys client
base, driving revenue growth, and ensuring long-term customer
satisfaction. This position requires proven expertise in the job
shop fabrication industry with a customer-focused approach. The
Account Manager will maintain and expand relationships with
assigned clients, identify opportunities for growth, and serve as
the primary point of contact to ensure customer needs are met while
supporting the overall success of the company. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with
existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored
solutions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand
the client base. Collaborate with the production and engineering
teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Prepare and present
sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients. Monitor market
trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for
growth. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues
or concerns promptly. Achieve sales targets and contribute to the
overall growth of the company. Maintain client account plans to
track interactions, opportunities, and sales activities. Required
Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of metal fabrication
processes and products. Excellent communication, negotiation, and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of
a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with the ability to build cost models and
translate them into accurate quotations. Willingness to travel as
needed. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Business,
Marketing, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of
proven sales management experience, preferably within the job shop
fabrication or manufacturing industry. Strong financial acumen with
the ability to analyze sales data and market trends preferred.
Established network within the fabrication/manufacturing sector
preferred.
