plus commission position. Base pay range is $23-25 per hour (based
on experience) plus bonus based on sales performance. Paid Vacation
will accrue and can be taken per Company Policy. Year one includes
2 weeks vacation (Christmas-New Year's week one at your choosing).
Additional week provided in year two. The company offers eight (8)
paid Holidays annually. Mileage Reimbursements paid for employee
use of personal vehicle. Comp Plan (based on sales plan) Over 50%
Gross Margin 5% commission 40% - 49.9% Gross Margin 4% commission
Under 40% Gross Margin no commission (or case by case basis per
general manager) Job Summary The Account Executive is responsible
for establishing and maintaining relationships with new and
existing customers while directing the creation and delivery of new
sign projects for them. He/she is also responsible for maintaining
and building a book of accounts and growing their business with
BlackFire over time. Responsibilities Responsibilities include
overseeing the design, permitting, production (in-house and
partnered production) and installation of signage for customers
under their responsibility. Activities include working with
BlackFires production department and working with vended partners
(including designers, permitters, specialized production partners
and installation partners). Additional responsibilities include
helping answer phone calls, qualifying sales leads, entering lead
information into the project management system (Corebridge) and
conducting site surveys and other activities to create estimates.
Scope and estimate projects meeting customer needs and company
profit goals. Ensure sales goals are met. Manage projects as
Project Manager directing the design and production of signs either
within BlackFires production dept or through approved partners.
Ensure all paperwork is organized and job progress is maintained so
as to meet management and customer expectations. Manage project
management platform (Corebridge) to include account set up, project
creation, estimating, project management and installation. Receive
and qualify phone and website leads. Work leads converting them to
customers and work them through the sign creation process from
concept development to production and installation. Schedule
installation of sign projects, whether using internal or external
installers. Work confidently and expertly with clients,
subcontractors and vendors. Qualifications 5-10 years sign industry
experience. 3 years experience estimating for company of comparable
size, or equivalent experience. Background in selling and managing
the creation of signs. Strong computer skills, including experience
with Adobe Illustrator. Able to work in a fast-moving work
environment managing multiple projects simultaneously. Has good
math skills Design skills highly valued. Possess high school
diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, analyze and interpret job
estimates and reports. Advanced computer skills. Ability to
calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, gross
margin, mark-up, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to
read and interpret documents such as map reading, safety rules, and
procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and
correspondence. Ability to speak English effectively with
customers, employees and the public in general.
