The Signia by Hilton Atlanta is looking for a Senior Affiliate Sales Manager to join their opening team!
Opening in January 2024 , this property will have 100,000 square feet of indoor meeting space with state-of-the-art technology open air event lawn , and terrace outdoor event space. It was also have the largest ballroom in the State of Georgia at 40,000 square feet and divisible by 12!
The ideal candidate will have 3 years sales experience within a venue or hotel, passionate about booking and soliciting business for our hotel, and a go-getter attitude.
Position Statement
Focus on soliciting and booking all affiliate/ICW events for future Citywides and In-House groups to be able to drive more incremental revenue for the property.
You would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Represent the hotel through preparing proposals and other external sales presentations to groups and prospective customers to solicit, explain, negotiate, and close catering business.
  • Meet with and entertain customers, conduct property tours, participate in tradeshows, industry and community events to promote facilities and services and close deals.
  • Utilize discretion and authority to negotiate contracts to maximize revenue and profitability with customers and vendors.
  • Manage all aspects of the customer relationship including responding to customer inquiries, drafting proposals and contracts.
  • Organizing arrangements for social and corporate events including the set-up and execution.
  • Direct and collaborate logistics to all other affected departments and team members also responsible for event execution.
  • Provide consultation to customers to ensure we create unforgettable experiences within budget.
  • Creatively design and detail menus and events to maximize revenue and event experience.
  • Coordinate with Dir. of Catering for planning and execution of significant events at the hotel.
  • Prepare and present catering forecasts and reports as required by Director of Catering.
  • Manage room block pick up, cut off dates and attrition for affiliate group blocks

    What are we looking for?
    --- Minimum Years of Experience: three (3) years Hospitality related experience at manager level.
    It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
    --- Knowledge of the hotel property management systems (Delphi.fdc)
    --- Relevant degree, in business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution (CMP, CPCE)
