Strategy Job DescriptionThe Vice President of US Partner Ecosystem
Sales & Partner Strategy will lead at a strategic level the
management of the Partner Channel including Partner Ecosystem
including Partner Sales, Pipeline Management, Business Planning,
Partner Strategy, Partner Programs, Partner Development &
Education, and Partner Communications, supporting all products in
Sage North America. The leader will be responsible for all aspects
of the partner ecosystem demand management and sales process,
including: thru-partner demand generation, lead management,
business planning, partner sales tools, sales programs/promotions
(including partner tier and margins), partner analytics, partner
recruiting, partner branding, MSA analytics, partner value
proposition, partner program development/management, and partner
education and enablement programs as well as Partner account plans
and delivering the Indirect revenue targets. The leader will lead a
team responsible for executing on all aspects of the business
relationships with partners, including recruiting, qualifying,
onboarding, training, pipeline reporting, and win/loss reporting.
Key Responsibilities--- Lead a team of over120 ecosystem
professionals including: partner enablement, partner operations,
partner account managers, partner marketing, and partner sales and
sales leaders. --- Build world-class partner and ecosystem
management processes from recruitment and enablement - through
demand generation and effective pipeline management --- Ability to
travel 50%+ of the time --- Develop and execute strategy for
channel management programs and organization for full product suite
across the US. --- Lead a strong team ensuring effective execution
of channel management vision and strategy. --- Build and maintain
profitable relationships with key partner stakeholders. --- Manage
the entirety of the regional partner ecosystem in the US, driving
the key components that make Sage partners and ultimately Sage
successful. --- Optimize the performance of partnerships, including
identifying issues, assessing solutions, and executing on chosen
solutions. --- Provide thought leadership, strategic insight, and
clear communication (written and verbal) to team members on
partnership initiatives. --- Recommend enhancements to existing
commercial agreements in support of growth opportunities. ---
Identify and share opportunities to improve partner enablement. ---
Monitor performance of established commercial activities using key
metrics. --- Set financial targets and budgets in alignment with NA
leadership goals. --- Deliver on partner growth, leveraging key
cross-functional relationships within Sage to support the
indirect/channel needs. Key performance indicators: --- Channel
Sales growth --- Partner Account Manager Quota Attainment ---
Relevant Partner NPS component scores Direct reports: --- Directly
reporting up to this position will be Partner Strategy, Partner
Programs, Partner Enablement, Channel Sales, ISV Sales, Strategic
Alliances Qualifications: --- Bachelor's degree in
business/marketing or computer science and 15+ years of increasing
responsible experience in sales or marketing. MBA or Master's
degree is desirable. --- Seven or more years in driving sales
growth through partners and channels with deep understanding of SMB
--- Extensive experience with P&L and fiscal/budgetary
management within a large organization with demonstrated experience
in establishing financial goals and delivering results. --- Strong
background in strategic planning and execution. --- Demonstrated
experience in key elements of partner and ecosystem business
management, including partner business planning, partner rhythm of
the business, quarterly business reviews and deep expertise in
performance management. --- Demonstrated success executing against
market-driven strategies. --- Proven ability to identify or define
market trends and quickly translate those needs into leading-edge
product and service offerings. --- Experienced in change
management, business and organizational transformation. --- Proven
expertise in building world class, high performing teams. Technical
/ professional qualifications: --- Bachelor's degree in
business/marketing or computer science and 15+ years of increasing
responsible experience in sales or marketing. MBA or Master's
