Job Description:
Sales & Marketing - Georgia, US Description At MEDITECH, we sit
at the nexus of healthcare and technology - both rapidly evolving
industries. A Sales role with us allows you to be a part of this
growth. You will be responsible for selling our cutting edge
Enterprise Health Record software to senior level executives and
managers at hospitals and healthcare networks. The products that
you are selling allow for patient care to be delivered in a more
cost effective and safe manner. As a member of our Sales team, your
job would involve: Obtaining a depth of knowledge on all MEDITECH
solutions and services Strong comprehension of healthcare industry
initiatives and the correlation with MEDITECH solutions and
services Aggressively selling MEDITECH's established standard
solutions and services Maintaining accurate and standardized
account records Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of
responses to "Requests for Information" (RFI's) and "Requests for
Proposals" (RFP's) from prospects Attending regional trade shows
Active participation in monthly regional sales meetings and
quarterly divisional meetings Coordination of product
demonstrations and presentations of MEDITECH software Maintaining a
level of understanding of issues related to healthcare and
specifically to hospitals and health systems Covering assigned
territories, and traveling 60% of the time What You Should Have
Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred and/or 2-3 years of
applicable work or military experience Minimum of 3-5 years of
healthcare and/or enterprise sales experience Passion for
healthcare and technology Proven track record on relationship
cultivation at all levels of management Exceptional written and
verbal communication skills Basic knowledge of hardware and
technical requirement associated with the MEDITECH system Proven,
dynamic presentation skills High degree of professionalism Strong
customer relationship management skills Demonstrated achievement in
meeting and exceeding sales targets in a quota-driven environment
Ability to foster strong, positive relationships Proven ability to
set goals and meet deadlines Understanding of healthcare industry
initiatives and correlation to MEDITECH solutions Work with sales
management to develop strategic sales plan for the territory
Understand competitor sales strategies, product solutions, and
