Manager, Supply Chain Performance Analytics (AF0115) Cox Communications Description Role Summary Leads reporting and analytics team and ensures that strategies are executed to improve the Supply Chain operational measures, analyze performance management tactics and increase overall supply chain experience related metrics as well as achieve other business and financial goals. Responsible for measuring and assessing the effectiveness of Supply Chain processes and procedures. Utilizing strong analytical skills ensures quality processes and programs are being utilized and are effective by developing key performance measurements and communicating performance relative to standards. Ensure optimal efficiency by monitoring work quality; delivering reports, statistics and recommendations for improvement. Primary Responsibilities: Ability to perform financial and operational modeling, forecasting and analysis to identify and deliver strategies to drive Supply Chain program and operational efficiencies. Analyzes Supply Chain performance metrics, trends & standards and defines, develops and delivers appropriate improvement and sustainability strategies and programs to improve performance. - Leads development and design of dashboards for use by Supply Chain operational teams, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and fulfillment. - Leads trend analysis to support business operations; including budget modeling. - Identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies in analytical procedure or cross-functional methods. - Knowledge of procure to pay cycle, from requisition to PO to delivery to invoice payment, and ability to analyze such data and provide recommendations to enhance internal and external processes. - Provides data insights into key Supply Chain initiatives by partnering with the various Supply Chain units to understand, define, and deliver actionable results. - Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management. - Develops analytical tools and numerical modeling of complex operations systems and processes. - Presents recommendations for operational efficiencies and process improvements and assists in policy development to support change initiatives. - Effectively communicate test results and performance analyses to functional team and executive management staff along with recommendations for improvement to future tactics and strategy. - Coaches, develops team members to continuously improve individual and team performance and capability. - Facilitates meetings and presentations to executive leadership. - Maintains Supply Chain database to ensure integrity, performance and accessibility to data. - Extracts and queries large amounts of data with appropriate programming languages. - Ability to automate data tasks for hands free, scheduled execution. Qualifications Minimum - 7+ years of experience required in Supply Chain and/or Business Operations; or 5+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree - 4 or more years of data mining and analysis experience with SQL/Oracle. - Strong knowledge of MySQL, Python, Tableau, and database reporting and analysis platforms. - Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong ability to organize, analyze, interpret, and disseminate information. - Must possess an internal client service orientation and work collaboratively. - Track record of effectively partnering across different teams in organizations. - Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, analytical and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization. Preferred - BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Business, Finance, Accounting, etc.) - 2 or more years of experience in a management role or leading cross functional projects preferred. - Strong knowledge of Cox systems such as ICOMS, OBIEE, Essbase. - Knowledge of MicroStrategy. - Experience in telecommunications industry or other subscription-based business desired. - Proven analytical skills, project management, root cause analysis, process improvement and process management skills.
