Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Fire Suppression System Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems, and Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.Key Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and install various manufacturers' products, including fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, and suppression gas systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
• Manage daily service calls, customer activity, and program system products.
• Assist customers with questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service.
• Perform inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.Requirements
  • Mechanical/electrical background required.
  • Ability to work with extinguishers, kitchen systems, and emergency/exit light inspections.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding customer-facing service and problem-solving skills.
  • PC skills, including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Manufacturer certifications, such as ANSUL or Kiddie PyroChem, are a plus.
  • Valid US driver's license.Preferred Qualifications
    • Location within 50 miles of Macon, GA, preferred.
