Our client is in need of a Manufacturing Engineer for their manufacturing facility near the Birmingham, AL area.Responsibilities:*Develop solutions to manufacturing issues of new and existing products.*Perform product designs and costing for quotes*Coordinate all related activities within the engineering team including design, development, testing, and process improvement*Strong experience with control systems, industrial control panels, and manufacturing equipment*Act as a liaison between customers, internal engineering teams, and production staff to ensure seamless processes*Facilitate the research and implementation of

for manufacturing processesRequirements:*BS Engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial) degree from an accredited college or university is required*5+ years of experience in processing/assembly manufacturing operations*Strong refrigeration fabrication experience*Knowledge of engineering compliance systems like NSF, UL and electrical codes*Skilled in the following: DOE, FMEA, Economics & Cost Analysis and Value Analysis.*Experience in data analysis and operations performance management required*Operational excellence training strongly preferred (Lean/Six Sigma)*Working understanding of the budgeting process.*Successful project launch experience a plus*Strong 3D CAD modeling and design experience**Interested candidates are encourage to email current resumes to jhoms judge.com**UI 697075
