The role is responsible for ensuring the quality of all data interface analysis, technical documentation, test plans, configuration and testing completed for assigned clients on Alight's proprietary benefits administration platform. This includes researching, documenting, and modifying interface specifications throughout the production life cycle. They serve as a connection point where necessary for internal client teams, carriers and shared services.Your Day as a Client File Analyst would include:

  • Monitor imports and exports to ensure data is flowing in and out of the system as expected
  • Review carrier discrepancy reports and conduct research on data fallout/errors
  • Attend internal client status meetings for assigned clients
  • Task management in JIRA
  • Correspondence with carriers, managers and shared service teams on new file builds
  • File configuration and quality assurance for new file builds
  • File maintenance activities
    • Conduct File timeliness and SLA management activities
      • Support the Premium Reporting and Payment/Volume Bill process
      • Support SmartBen Now imports
      • Conduct data audits where needed to compare/reconcile carrier data with SmartBen data to keep systems in sync
      • Annual Open Enrollment File Schedule management & deliveryKnowledge & Skills required
        • MS Excel or Google Sheets - intermediate to advanced skills
        • Experience working with EDI files - preferred
        • Quality assurance experience - preferred
        • Basic data flow analysis
        • Strong organizational and time management abilities

Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $44,600.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $60,000.00/year (for full-time employees).
