This function is expected to utilize analytical techniques, research, and collaboration to provide superior metrics for the SFS organization. As a part of a maturing organization, curiosity and operational insights into how businesses function and how the data and operations interact plays a huge role in the growth of this position.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide data insights into business issues by conducting in-depth data analysesDesign and execute various analytical and data projectsUtilize data mining and advanced spreadsheet/technical skills to participate in complex analysis and reporting related to factors that affect portfolio performanceEmploy best practices of data analysis and validation to ensure data results are accurateSelf-initiated research and thoughtful insights to data accumulation and maintenance required Promote innovative ways to visualize and digest complex dataProactively monitor and report relevant changes in portfolio performance to managementEffectively summarize and communicate portfolio performance trends, expectations, forecast methodology and results to managementOversee the system implementation of key policies/solutions/strategiesCollaborate with team members and department leaders in Risk, IT and other departments on execution of Remarketing initiatives and assess performancePerform other duties as assignedConform with all company policies and proceduresSkillsAdvanced with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordExperience with coding for data mining and transformationDemonstrated quantitative skillsAcute attention to detailEffective written and verbal presentation skillsCapable of managing multiple projects, including ability to coordinate and balance numerous tasks in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, meeting deadlinesAbility to identify and understand business issues and map them into quantitative questionsUnderstanding of automotive or Remarketing metrics is a plusCompetencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Analytical Ability to synthesize complex or diverse data to extract information or reach conclusion useful for business strategiesProblem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Generates creative solutions; Demonstrates attention to detailsProject Management Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on timeTechnical Skills Strives to continuously build knowledge on analytical techniques and skills of applying analytical tools including programing skillsOral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Participates discussions in meetings.Written Communication - Writes clearly and informativelyInterpersonal Skills and Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Puts success of team above own interests. QualificationsEducationBachelor s degree or equivalent work experience in Economics, Business or other quantitative fields.Experience1-3 years of experience in data analytics or other analytical functions, experience Remarketing Analytics or auto-finance preferred.
