Repair Stations in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore,
and Brazil. Our customer-focused business model serves aviation
customers through Supply Chain and Inventory Supported Maintenance,
Repair and Overhaul (ISMRO -) services.
We have an opening for a Trade Compliance Analyst position based in
our Atlanta, Georgia corporate headquarters.
The Trade Compliance Analyst provides transactional support of
import/export compliance fundamentals to support the Trade
Compliance Officer in the mission to maximize cross border
efficiencies while maintaining Global trade and logistics
compliance standards that can improve cycle time and bring high
customer service levels. This role applies fundamental trade
compliance rules, regulations and best practices to determine
shipment processes follow all importation or exportations laws.
This role also reviews part catalog items for proper Hazardous
Materials / Dangerous Goods classification and declaration prior to
shipping, providing support and technical assistance across the
globe, and support monitoring and resolution of issues associated
with inbound/outbound movement of goods.
Requirements for this role include 3-5 years demonstrated
experience in Logistics and/or Trade Compliance operations with an
emphasis on Import compliance experience and hands on use of
Harmonized Tarif Code. Knowledge of international shipping and
import requirements in different regions. Strong experience working
in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, both domestic and
international. Action and results oriented, sense of urgency,
flexible, hardworking, team player who thrives in a fast-paced
business with frequent and rapid priority changes. Excellent verbal
and written communication skills and ability to remain poised in
all situations. Brokers' license is a plus.
