Overview
Forward thinking individual to lead the inventory management execution and strategy across all nodes of the Supply Chain for various menu categories. This includes suppliers, cold storage, re-distribution, Distribution Centers, and restaurants. This leader will partner with both internal Chick-fil-a, Inc. Sourcing, Launch, Marketing, Distribution, Supplier Quality and Safety, and Supply Chain Consultant teams along with external suppliers and distributors to develop and execute the network-wide inventory strategy across 70+ Distribution and Contingency Centers that service 2500+ restaurants. This position requires the leader to utilize a diverse range of skills and experiences in the overall support of inventory management across the end-to-end supply chain and requires a high degree of independence in the execution of these responsibilities to support $30 Billion in restaurant sales.
Responsibilities

• 
  
• Influence Distributor and Supplier inventory strategies to ensure proper inventory quantities are purchased and produced to consistently achieve strategic service level objectives, inventory targets and to minimize obsolescence
  
• Build consensus throughout the organization on inventory strategy for various menu categories including clear launch, contingency and exit strategies
  
• Analyze large data sets to solve complex replenishment problems across a variety of business scenarios. (e.g. supply constraints, disruptions, withdrawals, etc.)
  
• Drive alignment across the organization on actions needed to support the inventory strategy, including demand shaping and supply planning expertise
  
• Responsible for the budget related to product obsolescence for all items being added to or removed from the menu
  
• Manage relationship and activities of third-party demand and supply planning partners
  
• Provide direction and standard processes regarding inventory and transportation issues including the existence, root cause and resolution of inventory variances that could arise from the 120,000+ annual Inbound Loads
  
• Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
  
• Develop and implement inventory management information systems and processes
  
  Minimum Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or other related field
    
  • 5+ years of progressive career advancement in Inventory Management
    
  • Previous experience in a complex supply chain network
    
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (including data visualization and storytelling)
    
  • Strong aptitude to solve problems and drive improvement within established systems and processes
    
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
    
  • Experience analyzing large data sets using analytical techniques
    
  • Previous experience creating and managing budgets
    
  • Capable of making decisions quickly and decisively
    
  • Strong ability to drive results and build strong relationships
