This position is responsible for supporting the company's portfolio of supply chain related applications. Applications in the portfolio include IBM Maximo v7.6, Interpro EZMaxMobile, SMART by GEP, Ignition by Telus (Priya), SCOTT (Southern Company Online Travel Tool), and other bespoke in-house applications. This position resides in the Maximo Center of Excellence (COE) which reports up through the Technology Organization (TO).Support responsibilities for this position are comprised of the following:Providing customer facing production support for incidents escalated beyond the front-line support team. Examples of incidents include troubleshooting system/integration errors, complex data management/repair requests, and triaging system change requests.Facilitating non-development related portions of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, technical design, and testing.Partnering with customers to stay abreast of emerging needs in our customers' business and leveraging opportunities to further extract value from our supported applications.Leading and executing major projects and upgrades with responsibilities to include:Project strategy development (i.e. - strategies and approaches for data conversion, testing, defect remediation, etc.)Workshop facilitationBusiness process modelingFit-gap analysisTechnical solutioningTestingCollaborating with external software vendors and internal support resources (e.g. - TO Service Desk, TO COEs, TO Infrastructure, Database Services, etc.) to provide seamless support to customersDeveloping and maintaining system documentation pertaining to support responsibilities and tasksEducation & Experience:3 years previous experience with the IBM Maximo 7.6 applicationPrevious experience with Interpro EZMaxMobile is a plusPrevious experience with Smart by GEP is a plusPrevious experience providing end-user support to multiple user groups within heavily matrixed support organizationsWorking knowledge and understanding of processes and procedures related to supply chain operationsProficiency in data management skills with experience using SQL/PL SQLPrevious experience working within established Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) frameworksA commitment to safetyStrong organization skills and attention to detailAbility to analyze and document business processesProactive problems solving and analytical skillsStrong oral and written communication skills across all organization levelsSound business judgement, a customer service focus with ability to effectively support challenging business partnersAbility to work effectively with both technical and non-technical professionalsHigh level of stamina and an ability to be effective in a dynamic and challenging environmentAbility to effectively manage multiple projects and tasksDeliver behaviors and values of Southern Style and the Code of EthicsStrong work ethic and effective teamingReporting Relationship:
