Responsibilities

The Supply Coordinator is responsible for the acquisition, storage and distribution of supplies. Serves as a liaison between Supply Chain and end-users. Responsible for all aspects of inventory management, procurement and replenishment. Assists in financial analysis and reporting. Ensures supply processes and procedures are compliant with all aspects of Quality and Safety. Assists with product conversions and recalls. Assists with year-end inventories.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education

• High school graduate or possess a General Educational Development (GED) Diploma from an accredited program
• Associate Degree in a business related field preferred. Will consider background in supply management in lieu of degree Required Minimum Experience
  • Minimum two to three year of supply inventory and replenishment experience in Health Care environment
  • Basic knowledge of inventory / distribution systems Required Minimum Skills
    • Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English. Knowledge of medical supply terminology
    • Possess technical skills to operate PC and hand-held devices
    • Possess skills to interact with clinicians and other hospital personnel
    • Proficicient in office computer applications, specifically Word and Excel
