Responsibilities

Reports to the Supervisor for Supply Chain Customer Support. Customer Support Specialist (CSS) will be customers' primary point of contact with Supply Chain. The duties and responsibilities of a CSS include managing incoming calls and emails, completing ServiceNow assignments as well as handling customer's inquiries and addressing customer's needs to achieve satisfaction. A Customer Support Specialist will function as a liaison, provide product/service information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that customers may face with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Highschool diploma or equivalent

Required Minimum Experience: Two (2) years office experience with emphasis on basic business, supply chain or accounting principles. Ability to demonstrate comparable knowledge and skills in procurement processes.

Knowledge of medical/surgical products, services and/or vendors utilized in a hospital setting preferred. Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively. Working knowledge of automated materials management information systems (MMIS). Ability to multi-task and have effective communication skills. Ability to accomplish

multiple tasks simultaneously and understanding of uses of products in a medical setting. Occasionally will be required to exercise independent judgement and discretion.

Required Minimum Skills: General understanding of Microsoft Office 365 applications and customer service software platforms. Good organization skills and strong attention to details. Good analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written. General understanding of Supply Chain operations in Hospital environment.
