Job Description:

Project Manager - General Contracting Division Position Overview: We have an immediate need for a Construction Project Manager in our General Contracting Division to be based out of our Canton, GA office location. The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization's general contracting grocery/retail divisions. Responsibilities:

  • Leads the project team to complete an assigned project on time, on/under budget, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency
  • Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly
  • Creates new project estimates
  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project
  • Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates
  • Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project from both Internal and External Stakeholders
  • Serve as the single POC (point of contact) company, customers, and subcontractor/vendors
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Possess financial acumen to understand revenue recognition, process change orders, and budget adjustments
  • Performs other related duties as assignedQualifications:
    • Prior experience managing all aspects of large projects in the construction industry
    • Experience in estimating/quantity take-off is highly desirable
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Procore or other project management related software
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateEducation:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experiencePhysical Requirements:
        • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
        • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
