member of the NMG technology analytics team, you are curious and
passionate collaborating with analytics team members and business
partners to create reports, dashboards and analyses that transform
data into insights that inspire action.Job Responsibilities:
- Transform and interpret data by applying business acumen and
technical skills to explore data and assist in creating analyses
and insights relevant to business processes, performance,
questions, initiatives, and objectives
- Employ coding skills into the develop of dashboards in order to
allow the application to calculate KPIs and metrics as needed for
the business reviews
- Leverage reporting tools to create end to end analyses and
report deliverables, preferably PowerBI, Data Studio and SQL
- Apply data visualization principles and skills to assist in
delivering inspiring actionable insights and decision tools
- Collaborate with analytics team members and business partners
to assist in testing and verifying data sets, analytic models,
reports, and analyses using analytics technology such as SQL,
Python, and Google Data Studio
- Collaborate to assist in developing and testing of descriptive,
diagnostic, and/or predictive analyses
- Collect and document requirements for the reporting system,
metrics and KPIs
- Proactively seek opportunities to learn new technical,
business, and professional skills as well as share knowledge with
fellow analysts
- As a collaborator within an agile team, you assist with full
lifecycle analysis to include requirements, planning, design,
development, testing, and support
- Develop analyses and reports supporting proactive projects and
ad hoc analyses. You collaborate with team members to manage work
items and tasks towards achieving shared goals; monitor performance
and quality to identify, suggest and implement improvementsJob
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree within analytical course of study (e.g.,
mathematics, science, engineering, business, accounting, data
analytics, data science)
- Up to 5 years of professional experience in a data analyst or
business intelligence role
- Demonstrated knowledge of data exploration and descriptive
analytics
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Google Big Query, Google
Data Studio, SQL, Python for data science, and/or other technology
platforms and applications (e.g., Tableau, Looker, R)
- Travel for NMG PrimeTime events (twice annually) and upon
occasion to Winston-Salem office for team and corporate meetingsJob

Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to
lift up to 10 pounds. General office environment with moderate
noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of
the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of
time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions.
Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time.
