Who you are As a Project Design Consultant, you are the primary design contact within the designated region in support of Custom Project Solutions, Facilities and Equipment Field Consultants and the Tests & Rollouts team. In supporting Existing Restaurants, you'll provide dedicated architectural and interior design support related to operations, brand image and the application of design standards. Moreover, you'll will direct a team of design professionals to provide quality construction documents to achieve the program level design principles and standards for all restaurants in the designated region. What you bring: Bachelor's Degree 3 years' experience in design, construction and project management in the restaurant industry Ability to provide clear direction, leadership, and support to a team of design professionals Ability to plan and meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously Strong knowledge of architecture design and operations, construction principles and understanding of generally applicable laws and regulations in regard to restaurants and public use building Strong presentation and organizational skills Multi-discipline design team management experience Reasonable computer application skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Office, Outlook, etc. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey design concepts and goals Bonus skills and experience Restaurant industry experience What success looks like: Providing accurate and timely reports to the Facilities & Equipment team from various databases to assist the team in strategic decision making. Traveling within the designated region as required to build relationships and be connected to the work Providing design support and leadership for two regional teams and multiple Field Consultants Responsibility for adherence to organizational design standards Providing design solutions to the Existing Restaurants regional team for consideration and prioritization Providing architectural and interior design direction for the Refresh program in the designated region Providing direction, leadership, and support of a team of design professionals to achieve unique site-specific design goals Successfully providing leadership and direction where needed to ensure project owners and Field Consultants understand and support the design direction and requirements for the project Effectively Supporting the needs of Field Consultants and their construction resources regarding standards, change management and program execution in the region #LI-TS1 BE who you are and what you want to be with Colliers.
