Business & Technical Portfolio Analyst is a strategic role responsible for strengthening the connection between the Technical Innovation & Stewardship (TI&S) technical work (including innovation, productivity, and stewardship) and its impact on the business. The Analyst will capture data from various sources (e.g. financial and technical) and translate complex data into key trends, diagnostic and predictive insights which can offer ways to improve TI&S' contribution to the business and optimize priorities.What You'll Do for UsStrategy: Elevate the TI&S effectiveness and impact on the business by developing, aligning and ensuring execution of a data short, mid and long-term strategy.Data Analysis, Interpretation and Visualization: Distill and leverage critical insights to define key takeaways and provide recommended action plans to drive informed decisionsStewardship and Communication: Ability to broadly socialize key findings and partner across North America Operating Unit and Global Platforms to deliver on the TI&S strategy.Capability Development: Develop tools, templates and processes to improve efficiency of TI&S functions and associates. Enhance predictive capabilities to drive data-driven decisions on risks and to create efficiencies for Scientific and Regulatory Affairs (SRA), Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE) and Research Development and Innovation (RDI). Examples could be, leveraging sensory data to predict optimal recipes, automate prototype sample preparation, leverage historical QSE data to elevate the rigor of our Risk-bases assessments, optimize label review routines.Stakeholder Engagement: Create a strong and jointly beneficial partnership across TI&S, Global Platforms and cross-functionally (e.g. Strategy, marketing, consumer insights, finance, and supply chain) to elevate TI&S to a strategic business partner.Project Management and Optimization: Opportunity to manage and coordinate complex, strategic portfolio analysis projects and IT projects to an achievable scope and timeline with appropriate resourcing.This role will communicate directly with the SVP and TI&S Leadership Team to ensure the strategy and actionable plan are aligned and delivered. Work collaboratively with all TI&S functions to understand goals and deliver jointly against the plan. As appropriate, represent TI&S with key stakeholders such as, Platform Services, Supply Chain, Strategy, Marketing, Corporate T&SC and IT.Enhance knowledge and capabilities across TI&S to help elevate their business partnership capabilities and leverage data to shape the AOP/LRP and confidently make decisions on priorities.Depending on the connection point, this role will need to influence, inform and align on multiple technical and strategic matters.Qualifications & Requirements B.S. in analytics, business administration, economics, finance or related field required; M.S. preferred5+ years in in similar or related roles in food/beverage or related industry is required. Strong consumer and marketing analytics capabilities. Strong ability to visualize and effectively socialize action-based findings.Ability to synthesize key takeaways across wide range and variety of data sources and translate insights into actionable opportunities; structured and compelling communication skills (written and verbal)Strong analytics and modeling experience, including proficiency in ExcelSkilled in other Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint. Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) a plus.Experience collaborating and influencing cross-functional teamsProven track record of delivering sustainable results and problem-solving.
