Job Description:

System One is recruiting a Business Analyst for a power facility in Atlanta, GA. This position will require both office and construction site (field work) and be exposed to all weather conditions. May be required to work shift work. Responsibilities:

  • Major Job Responsibilities:--
  • AFT Technology Leadership Team Program Support (65%)
  • Support AFT TLT Monthly Meetings including associated communication and documentation
  • Assist with Strategic Information Technology Plan (SITP) maintenance
  • Administer AFT TLT and SITP TeamSite and SharePoint Sites
  • Maintain accuracy of key documents including AFT Projects List, Technology Matrix, AFT TLT Action Items List, AFT Roadmap, etc
  • Successfully act as a liaison between AFT TLT team members, Process Teams and other organizations to facilitate information sharing and best practices among cross-functional teams
  • Schedule and coordinate recurring Process Team Governance Meetings including minutes
  • Triage Remedy cases by creating new requests within HP PPM/Agility, assigning requests to Process Teams, and coordinating among multiple Process Teams as needed
  • Create and publish Governance Process Metrics
  • Enterprise Foundations special projects support
  • Information Management (30%)
  • Serve as the departmental TeamSite and SharePoint Administrator and enforce information management strategy
  • Partner with EREO to ensure organizational alignment on business readiness/training documents including solution job aids, desktop procedures, etc
  • Create and maintain Access Control Lists (ACL) and Group Administration Groups (GAG)
  • Business Continuity Support (5%)
  • Assist with maintaining the status of business continuity planning activities including plan maintenance and tabletop exercises using the Company Continuity System
  • Serve as the Accounting, Finance and Treasury (AFT) Technology Leadership Team (TLT) Program Support assisting the AFT TLT Program Manager with the oversight and management of the AFT Technology Leadership Team activities, including AFT Application Governance
  • Provide support for Enterprise Foundations project, business continuity planning and information management functional support
  • Communicate and coordinate among cross-functional teams within the Accounting, Finance, Treasury (AFT) and Technology (TO) Organizations
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task, track multiple projects at once and adapt with the needs of the business
  • Leverage collaboration skills and strategic thinking in support of the company enterprise efforts Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor---s Degree in Accounting, General Business, Computer Science, IT or related discipline is required
    • Minimum of 3 years--- experience in the AFT or Technology Organizations (TO) is required
    • Demonstrated experience creating effective communications and presentations for management
    • Minimum of 3 years--- experience aligning the use of technology to improve business processes is required
    • Experience designing, creating, and supporting metrics reporting is a plus
    • Project management experience is desired
    • Experience with business continuity plans and tabletop exercises is a plus
    • Experience creating and presenting training Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
      • Proven ability to build and maintain trusting relationships across the AFT and TO organizations
      • Effective oral and written communication skills are critical
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint) is required
      • Strong requirements gathering, analytical and problem-solving skills are required
      • Demonstrated strong organization, planning skills and attention to detail
      • Proven ability to perform in a coordination/project management role is required
      • Familiarity with AFT financial application systems and processes is required
      • TeamSite administration knowledge is highly desired
      • A proven individual work ethic and team effectiveness
      • Basic understanding of general accounting principles and processes is important
      • Understanding of business continuity and associated tabletop processes and tools
      • Experience with Remedy, HP PPM/Agility is a plus
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is crucial with experience in the AFT or TO organizations
      • Must have very strong attention to detail and proven organizational skills Behavioral Attributes:
