PROJECT MANAGER - MULTIFAMILY CONSTRUCTIONBecome part of a team producing cutting-edge multifamily projects. A leading Atlanta area Developer/Builder is seeking a Project Manager with extensive experience in the multifamily market who is looking for long-term employment with a vertically integrated business dedicated to growth and excellence.Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee multifamily construction projects from conception to completion while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations, including project planning, scheduling, estimating and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with the architect and construction team to ensure the feasibility of each project.
  • Work with the customer from the start of each project to ensure project scope and vision are understood and implemented.
  • Negotiate agreement terms, manage construction contract drafts, bid on projects, and obtain permits to analyze and mitigate risks.
  • Communicate with the responsible parties to ensure quality construction exceeds company standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized.
  • Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates and deliverables.
  • Review projects on a daily basis to ensure quality construction standards exist and estimates remain within budget.Qualifications:
    • Four-year degree from an accredited university within the construction, engineering, or business concentrations strongly preferred
    • 5+ years' experience in commercial/multifamily construction.
    • Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings
    • Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results
    • Knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends
    • Must demonstrate a strong ability to:
      • Carry oneself as a leader and knowledge holder of the project while facilitating the decision-making process
      • Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for construction and our industry
      • Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, with a strong ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
