WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this position you will assist with the reconciliation, reporting, and analysis of centralized travel expenses across the North America Region (NAMR). You will utilize digital tools such as Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau to process large sets of data to meet deadlines and provide insights. You will partner closely with other Amex Services team members, Accounts Payable, and NAMR Travel, among others. As a member of the NAMR Finance Shared Services team, you will participate in the delivery of reliable services to support local and regional business needs.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
Delivering results with a key focus on data accuracy and integrity

Managing multiple responsibilities in a deadline-oriented environment

Implementing and enforcing best practices within digital tools such as Excel, Alteryx and/or Tableau

Preparing analytical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends

Creating informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends, operational metrics, and opportunities for improvement

Conducting insightful, ad hoc analysis to investigate ongoing or one-time trends

Helping to drive the standardization of business processes by working closely with key stakeholders and technical teams

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study with 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, internal audit, data analytics, or travel management

Dynamic, self-motivated professional with an ability to proactively push for clarity where ambiguity resides

Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and with others

Client service-oriented

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills a must

Relevant experience using Alteryx Designer is a plus

Relevant experience using Tableau Desktop is a plus

Knowledge and ability to create technical solutions for process automations

Ability to handle aggressive deadlines and balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining system integrity

Proven ability to impact operations and effect change

Strong communication skills and an ability to articulate complex issues in a concise manner, able to synthesize complex information into simple discussion points
