JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services. The Business Analyst will work with the Vice Presidents of Global Sectors and Sales Management Team to support sales planning & analysis. In this role, the team will look to the Business Analyst to help establish/streamline policies and procedures throughout the department, support best practices in sales forecasting, reporting, and communications. As the Business Analyst, your responsibilities would include data analysis, reporting, market research, competitive analysis, planning, and sales process optimization. Ideal candidates will have Business Analysis experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and fun environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Track and analyze key metrics pipeline growth, quota attainment. Compile key pieces of information related to performance against sales objectives to be reviewed by Sr. VPs Proactively analyzes win-loss data and reports on key findings to sales leadership. Develop presentations that analyze sales and marketing activities and achievements Reporting and analysis for the Vertical Senior Vice Presidents, including executive reporting of sales and marketing results, key metrics and KPIs, campaign tracking and analysis, and ad hoc strategic analysis. Implements and manages reports and dashboards ensuring sales reps and Senior Vice Presidents have access to key data required to successfully manage the business. Track and present key account financial data Implements and manages reports and dashboards ensuring sales reps and leaders have access to key data required to successfully manage the business. Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and external intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed. Manage Wintouch (JAS CRM) activity and required documentation for accounts, bids, activities Manage Panjiva, Statista, and other third-party platforms to help define market opportunities Manage and develop JAS POWERBI tool to enhance client, market, and product focused programs Develop Sector training material Other duties as may be assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree or 3-5 years of experience preferred Excellent organizational skills Excellent written and verbal skills Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite Strong analytical skills in Microsoft Excel include pivot tables, PowerPoint, TEAMS Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently Robust data analytics skillset Event Management experience Understanding financial reporting documents balance sheet, P&L, etc., ability to analyze earnings reports and present the data in an effective manner ENVIRONMENT: 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Travel will be (up to 10%) required in support of the positions responsibilities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
