will enjoy working with us! POSITION OVERVIEW The Senior Event
Manager is a senior-level leader responsible for defining and
executing the asset’s comprehensive event strategy and experiential
programming vision. This includes full strategic ownership of
annual signature events, major traffic-driving initiatives such as
the paid on-site 5K, curated partner event series, and the
development of new proprietary events designed to strengthen the
asset’s competitive positioning. As a working leader, the Senior
Manager will actively engage in the planning and execution of
events while leading and developing a high-performing team. This
role requires a leader who can effectively manage staff, refine and
expand existing programming, and collaborate across internal
departments – including marketing, operations, sponsorship,
security, and tenant partners – to ensure seamless execution of
both third-party events and proprietary signature programming. The
event portfolio includes established recurring events,
community-driven initiatives, sponsorship-supported programming,
and innovative new series designed to enhance customer engagement
and asset performance. The Senior Manager is accountable for
ensuring these platforms deliver measurable traffic growth, tenant
sales impact, sponsorship value, and long-term brand
differentiation. This position requires a minimum of seven (7)
years of progressive professional experience, including at least
three (3) years of direct people management overseeing a minimum of
two direct reports. The successful candidate must demonstrate a
proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder event
strategies and successfully launching, managing, or expanding
recurring annual programs with sustained, measurable results.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Events, the Senior Manager
oversees a team of three coordinators and is responsible for
mentoring and developing direct reports, setting clear performance
expectations, and fostering a collaborative environment that
encourages professional growth and ownership, while maintaining
accountability for the strategic execution and operational
excellence of all on-property events and activations. The ideal
candidate brings executive presence, analytical rigor, creative
vision, and the ability to translate high-level strategic
objectives into disciplined, ROI-driven execution while maintaining
exceptional standards of brand integrity and operational
performance. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Event Strategy & Strategic
Planning Develop and execute a comprehensive annual marketing and
event plan aligned with company strategies, financial objectives,
leasing goals, traffic drivers, and market share growth. Partner
with the Director of Marketing & Events to implement strategic
event and marketing initiatives supported by data, KPIs, and ROI
metrics. Enhance and create compelling marketing programs and
activations that meet customer, tenant, and partner needs,
contributing to a vibrant shopping, living, and entertainment
environment. Team Leadership Lead, develop, and mentor a team of
three coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability,
communication, and high performance. Provide clear direction and
support to ensure cohesive, efficient, and results-driven execution
across all marketing and event initiatives. Operational Excellence
& Quality Assurance Uphold superior standards of execution,
professionalism, and brand consistency across all marketing and
event activities. Conduct regular property walks to ensure all
public, event, and activation spaces meet high-quality presentation
standards with strong attention to detail. Manage project
workflows, timelines, vendor relationships, and on-site execution
to ensure flawless delivery. ROI, Analytics & Budget Management
Establish and utilize data-driven frameworks to evaluate marketing
and event performance; analyze KPIs, customer insights, traffic
trends, and sales impact. Prepare post-event recaps, performance
reports, and actionable recommendations for leadership
decision-making. Manage assigned marketing and event budgets,
appropriately allocating funds to maximize organizational impact
and brand visibility. Brand Stewardship Uphold and ensure
consistency of brand strategy across all event activations and
on-property marketing initiatives. Support property and event
promotion efforts as directed by the Director of Marketing &
Events. Participate in advertising strategy development to enhance
programming, brand awareness, and consumer reach. Oversee signage,
visual presentation elements, and on-site brand messaging to
maintain alignment with overall brand standards. Cross-Functional &
Tenant Collaboration Partner closely with tenants, internal
departments, and external stakeholders to align objectives,
coordinate programming, and enhance communication. Serve as a key
point of contact for tenants and clients regarding event
opportunities, marketing support, and partnership initiatives.
Actively participate in manager-on-duty rotations and management
team meetings. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Fluent in English, both
written and verbal Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business,
communications, or a related field Minimum 7 years of progressive
professional experience in event strategy, marketing, or related
disciplines Minimum 3 years of direct team management experience,
supervising at least two (2) direct reports Demonstrated experience
leading large-scale event strategy and execution Experience in
mixed-use, multi-stakeholder, or retail environments strongly
preferred Working knowledge of Marketing, Events and Marketing Fund
functions in a mixed-use, multi-stakeholder development environment
strongly preferred Knowledge of retail management, marketing and
advertising and working knowledge of the media industry Strong
financial acumen and experience managing budgets and ROI
measurement Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder
management skills Superior computer skills combined with the
ability to effectively communicate verbally, visually, and in
writing are essential to success Highly organized; consistently
produces accurate, high-quality work Ability to multi-task and meet
deadlines in a fast-paced environment Solution-oriented,
results-driven mindset Successful completion of a background check
