Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Claims Examiner - Claims Specialist - Commercial Bodily Injury and Professional Liability.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of low to moderate complexity P&C insurance claims, performing coverage, liability, and damage analysis
Negotiate settlements, mitigate losses, and assist in the management of litigated files while ensuring compliance with regulations
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain accurate documentation for all claims

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum of one year of P&C claims handling experience for Claims Examiner, three years for Senior Claims Examiner, and seven years for Claims Specialist
Experience with liability and coverage issues, multi-jurisdictional claims, and negotiating settlements
Adjuster license and/or certifications preferred
Ability to obtain required state adjusters' licenses within six months of training completion
