  • Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.

  • Minimum Experience: 1 year
  • Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics - Radiation Oncology
  • Equipment: SBAR, Pyxis
  • Required Skills: BLS, Experience with care and management of ports, central line/implanted line care, starting IVs, Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome, Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage, Sepsis, Spinal Cord Compression, Neutropenic precautions, Tracheostomy care/management, External Radiation therapy, Radiation safety precautions and wound care.

    • Schedule Requirements: RTO: MAX 7 days
    • Weekend: Every other weekend
    • Call Requirements: None
    • Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
    • Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
    • Floating: Within facility and to sister hospital as needed
    • Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
