• Certifications required include BLS and potentially others depending on the specialty as determined by the unit or facility requirements.
  • Job Details
  • Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
  • UNIT SYSTEMS: EPIC
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: - 1 year
  • PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics - Radiation Oncology
  • EQUIPMENT: SBAR, Pyxis
  • REQUIRED SKILLS: Experience with care and management of ports, central line/implanted line care, starting IVs, Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome, Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage, Sepsis, Spinal Cord Compression, Neutropenic precautions, Tracheostomy care/management, External Radiation therapy, Radiation safety precautions and wound care.

      • SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
      • RTO: MAX 7 days
      • WEEKEND: Every other weekend
      • CALL REQUIREMENTS: None
      • HOLIDAYS: Travelers are expected to work major holidays if they fall within their assignment period.
      • FLOATING: Within facility and to sister hospital as needed
      • COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
