Overview:Job Title: Radiologic TechnologistConcentra Atlanta, GABonus- up to $7,000Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pmThe Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) & Medical Support Specialist (MSS) conducts routine x-ray exams following Concentra's guidelines and under direct clinician supervision. The Rad Tech (RT) / MSS also assists in various needed areas of the facility. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Qualifications:QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Completion of a program at an accredited school of radiologic technology, accompanied by state-required certification.Active registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with current certification.Certification in CPR/First Aid.Job-Related ExperienceCustomarily has at least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminologyWorking knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred with prior medical office, healthcare and/or customer service-related experience.Job-Related Skills/CompetenciesConcentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative and FlexibilityAbility to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutionsOutstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalismThe ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policiesAble to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, and professional mannerTeamwork focus with peers and center leadership team; ability to maintain working relationship with all levels of colleaguesMust participate in initial and ongoing training as requiredObtain all certifications required of Medical Support Specialists including but not limited to Drug Screen Collection, Breath Alcohol Certification, Hair and Oral Fluids CollectionIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook and entry of data into various systems/applicationsAdditional Data:Concentra is the largest provider of workplace health services in the U.S., with 500+ clinics offering Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Physical Therapy, and Advanced Specialist services.
