Piedmont Health System is currently recruiting a BC/BE Neurocritical Care Physician in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of building a comprehensive stroke center program and grow the neurosciences service line with the vision to become the highest quality and largest program in Georgia. The service line includes neurosurgery, neuro hospitalist and neuro intensivist services with a dedicated 10 bed neuro-ICU unit and thriving spine and brain tumor programs. A brand new 20 bed dedicated neuro-ICU unit, will be constructed with anticipated completion in 2021. The neuro-ICU will have 24/7 in-house APP coverage and plans to develop a neurocritical care fellowship program. The neurosciences program shall include the development and growth or a clinical research program. The Piedmont system encompasses six Primary Stroke Centers and one thrombectomy capable center. This opportunity will allow the right candidate to develop and foster the growth of our program and the ability to access state of the art technology. Piedmont cares for over 2,000 medical stroke admissions in the Metro Atlanta area and over 3,000 across the entire system.
