The Support Specialist II is an entry level role that is
responsible for supporting our operational teams by reviewing and
handling incoming mail, printing appeals and claims, supporting
documentation, compiling, and mailing. The role is responsible for
ensuring the security of PHI while working thru these requests,
ensuring outgoing mail is addressed to the proper recipient, and
tracking information is applied per guidelines. This role will also
assist in supporting management by participating in the QA process
of the team's daily output in addition to reporting and
training.
This position is full - time, Monday - Friday. Employees are
required to work any shift between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm
EST. This position is an onsite position located at 3535 Piedmont
Rd. NE, Building 14 STE. 600, Atlanta, GA 30305--
We offer 2 - 4 weeks of paid on the job training with local
resource, rotating training with team members, and some virtual
with the hiring manager.--
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintaining appropriate system access needed to perform daily job
functions
Open, sort and route incoming mail to the appropriate area or
delegate
Printing documentation such as claims, appeals, medical records,
itemized bills, EOBs, and any necessary supporting documenting
communicated by the operational team
Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of outgoing mail, claims, appeals
and documentation
Applying appropriate tracking/mailing procedure based on defined
guidelines
Maintaining and updating inventory, tracking, mailing files and
database systems
Assisting with routine QA on work performed by team
Collaborating on creating and providing reporting that can be
shared with upper leadership and areas being supported on teams'
overall performance
Operating photocopiers, scanners, copy machines, and computers
Assist with ordering supplies when to ensure ongoing ability to
perform ongoing daily functions, i.e., paper, toner, claim forms,
envelopes etc.

Qualifications:
1+ years of Claim Processing experience
1+ years of Billing Claims experience
1+ years of Clerical Experience
1+ years of Document Management
Microsoft Office Experience - Word (able to create, open, edit,
save, print, and send word documents), Outlook (emails and calendar
events), Excel (spreadsheets, and power point presentations) as
well as Teams (ability to start and join meetings, share screen,
turn on and off camera)
Knowledge of Adobe including the ability to read, open, save, and
create PDFs
Ability to be onsite every day since it is a fully onsite role (it
is not possible to work from home in this position)
Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 4:30pm
EST including the flexibility to work occasional overtime given the
business need
