• Career advancementJob DetailsOur construction company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our team. As an Assistant Superintendent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our construction projects. You will work alongside our project managers and other construction professionals to oversee the construction of multi-family, apartment, condo, townhome, hotel, and hospitality projects.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day construction activities on the job site, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other construction professionals to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure that they are meeting their contractual obligations.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Monitor the progress of the project and provide regular reports to project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the construction schedule and ensure that all work is completed on time.
  • Manage the construction budget and ensure that all work is completed within budget.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that all materials and equipment are delivered on time.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on the job site.Qualifications:
    • At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent in the construction industry.
    • Experience working on multi-family, apartment, condo, townhome, hotel, and hospitality projects.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods and techniques.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
