Our business has grown significantly during the pandemic, and we are working to improve many of our processes to accommodate that and future growth. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in accounting, specifically accounts payable, purchasing management and QuickBooks who is willing to step in and learn on the job as it exists today and also help us improve our efficiencies and controls. These duties as part of a larger team and this job would also require the willingness to cross train on other functions. This is a vital role and requires a dedicated team player

Job Description
As part of the Company office staff, the Accounts Payable Specialist ensures all purchases are properly approved prior to order, goods are documented when received, and invoice pricing and count match the approved order.
This role manages all methods of payment, including checks issued to suppliers, automatic cash / credit card charges, management / field personnel credit card charges, etc. The objective of this work is to ensure all invoices and credits are properly accounted for, entered properly into QuickBooks, and paid appropriately.
Having the maturity & business judgment required - to recognize and call out inappropriate actions/purchases and/or failure to follow guidelines - is critical to success in this job.
