We have two exciting opportunities available. One is a Sr. Project
Lead, Field Leadership Development Strategy and the other is the
Sr. Project Lead, Staff Leadership Development Strategy.

the role for you! Chick-fil-As Leadership Development Strategy
team, the central hub for staff and field leadership development,
is seeking a Project Leader to partner in conceiving and developing
field-focused leadership development strategies to build
Chick-fil-As leadership pipeline in a time of extreme growth and
change.
For over two decades now, Chick-fil-A has made available optional
tools for Operators to use in the development of their leaders
using the SERVE framework (a framework made available in the public
domain that anchors around 5 dimensions of leadership: See and
Shape the Future, Engage and Develop Others, Reinvent Continuously,
Value Results and Relationships, and Embody the Values). As we
approach a new wave of business growth drive by increased customer
demand, it is time to revitalize the framework for a new generation
of Operators and Restaurant Leaders and bring it to life through
optional, voluntary programs and processes that help Operators
generate and support their own highly capable leaders for years to
come.
Sr. Project Leader, Field Leadership Development Strategy:
This role is responsible for researching and designing strategy for
supporting leadership development in the field, and aligning
multiple internal teams across the organization around our
leadership development strategy and program needs. The person in
this role will be responsible for researching, developing,
communicating, and aligning resourcing around our field leadership
strategy, focused on Restaurant Leaders and Franchisees. This
includes communicating with other functions and third-party
vendors, executing leadership development needs assessments,
working with the field-focused learning and development team to
align on learner needs and affiliated leadership development
experiences that support those needs. This leader is ultimately
accountable for stewardship of our developmental impact on field
leadership development.
Sr. Project Lead, Staff Leadership Development Strategy:
This role is responsible for researching and designing strategy,
and aligning multiple internal teams across the organization around
our leadership development strategy and program needs for our
corporate staff. The person in this role will be responsible for
researching, developing, communicating, and aligning resourcing
around our staff leadership development strategy, focused on a
range of corporate staff currently serving as leaders or in
emerging leader roles. This includes communicating with other
functions and third-party vendors, executing leadership development
needs assessments, working with the staff-focused learning and
development team to align on learner needs and affiliated
leadership development experiences that support those needs. This
leader is ultimately accountable for stewardship of our
developmental impact on staff leadership development.

Responsibilities
Sr. Project Leader, Field Leadership Development Strategy:
+ Work with Field Operations and Learning and Development to
determine needs, strategy, and programs and processes that will
support long-term fulfillment of field leadership development needs
at Chick-fil-A
+ Determine Executive Sponsors and share regular updates on program
progress
+ Work with Executive Sponsors to determine topics for the Capstone
Project
+ Strong ability to think strategically, influence decision making
and be able to build and maintain effective relationships with the
Leadership Development team and program participants
Sr. Project Lead, Staff Leadership Development Strategy:
+ Work with Talent Experience and Learning and Development to
determine needs, strategy, and programs and processes that will
support long-term fulfillment of field leadership development needs
at Chick-fil-A
+ Share regular updates and align key constituents on strategy and
program process.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Demonstrated experience in leading and managing large scale
programmatic/systematic leadership development programs
+ Personal experience as a leader of others
+ Experience in building and managing
+ Experience with a high-growth, high relationship brand
+ Experience in managing/working with leadership development
firms/vendors
+ 5 or more years of related experience
+ Experience working with 3rd party vendors/partners
+ Advanced oral and written communication skills (including
building executive briefings, strong analytical skills and
understanding/use of data in communicating leadership development
strategy needs)
+ Ability to work well independently and balance multiple
priorities
+ Ability to work well under pressure with complex issues within
established time constraints
+ Innate ability to prioritize and drive for results
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work with key
internal teams and leaders at every level within organization
(including Executives, HR leadership, Learning and Development
Leadership, Field Operations, HR business partners, and Talent
partners)
+ Strong understanding of adult learning principles, including some
instructional design
+ Possess a strong leadership and executive presence with the
ability to adapt and work successfully with stakeholders from
across business units at all levels
+ Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when under
pressure
+ Experience leading mid to large scale development initiatives
+ Have a broad understanding of the body of knowledge of leadership
development
+ Experience in building leadership development strategies and
programs.
+ Experience with leadership assessments, and leadership
development programs
+ Possess a well-developed strategic mindset and corresponding
ability to communicate and influence toward a strategic
direction
+ Posess a well-developed understanding of how leaders grow and
develop at all levels
Sr. Project Leader, Field Leadership Development Strategy:
+ Must be able to travel 30-40% depending on special projects/needs
of work-role is focused on the field
Sr. Project Lead, Staff Leadership Development Strategy:
+ Must have a strong ability to think strategically, influence
decision making and be able to build and maintain effective
relationships across the staff
+ Must be able to travel 15-30% depending on special projects
