Job Description:
Our Digital Modernization and Experience Group is growing, and
we are looking for a talented, highly motivated Data Solutions
Architect to join our ICF's Digital Modernization Division. You
will be responsible for helping government clients plan, manage and
execute their most complex digital transformation programs. We are
looking for a Data Solutions Architect who will be responsible for
defining strategy and driving technology solutions in the data
analytics and emerging technologies space for Public Sector
customers.

What you'll be doing:
Ensure customer business objectives are achieved by establishing
relationships, trust, and solutions that meet or exceed customer
expectations.
Guide customers to ensure success in building and migrating
applications, software and services following the principles of the
AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Make impactful recommendations and develop technical direction and
future state architecture for clients in alignment with their
business goals.
Build relationships with technical people within customers to
enable them to be cloud advocates.
Identify, document and share best-practice knowledge among the
architects within your respective client account as well as
architecture practice within ICF.
Translate business needs into solution architecture
requirements
Estimate the financial impact of solution architecture
alternatives
Define multiple solution options to business problems
Quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new and
emerging technologies
Assume the role of technology advisor that understands customer
business processes and maps them to technology solutions to
optimize business outcomes
Build modern solutions with serverless and managed services
What you must have:
10+ years of experience developing data management solutions and
strategies across a range of industries clients, and
technologies
5+ years of consulting or client service delivery experience on
Amazon AWS (AWS)
5+ years of experience working on data-driven projects including
data ingestion, data processing, data curation and data
warehousing, data governance, DataSecOps including serverless
workflows
3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS and Big Data technologies
such as S3, Lambda, LakeFormation, DMS, Kinesis, Kafka, Redshift,
RDS, Aurora, Neptune, DynamoDB, ECS, Glue, DataBrew, Python,
R-Studio, SageMaker, Spark/SparkSQL, Eventbridge, as well as
programming in Python, Java, Spark, SQL, Unix shell/Perl scripting,
etc.
2+ years of experience with AWS Redshift or Snowflake and
Microservices including Docker and deploying and running containers
on ECS or EKS
4+ years of experience working with Public Sector (U.S. Government)
clients, providing pre-sales technical solutioning support
US Citizen or Permanent Lawful Resident (Green Card Holder)
preferred. Employment must be compliant with eligibility for Public
Trust Clearance due to Government Contract.
What we'd like you to know:
Ability to perform data and organizational assessments, and build a
data strategy/roadmap for implementation
Learning mindset Stay abreast of new and emerging technologies and
market offerings relevant to our client's objectives
Experience with applied data science platforms and workflows
(MLOps, MLFlow)
Experience working with DevOps and IaC tools such as AWS
CloudFormation, Terraform, Git, Jenkins, CodeBuild, CodePipeline,
CodeDeploy, etc.
Experience with unified data analytics platforms such as Snowflake
and Databricks
Experience with driving Agile Software Delivery Life Cycle in a
business environment.
Experience with vendor partnership, software evaluation and
selection.
Knowledge of Big Data integration tools such as Spark, AWS Kinesis,
and Kafka
Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to exercise independent judgment while effectively
prioritizing and executing tasks while under pressure
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed
environment.
Ability to perform data and organizational assessments, and build a
data strategy/roadmap for implementation
Familiar with enabling solutions in a SaaS and PaaS models (utilize
serverless components)
Superior organizational and end to end delivery skills in an Agile
environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities with
proactive communication in mind
Ability to maintain strong working relationships with development
and business teams based on a proactive communication style
Strong Analytical and reasoning skills that result in clear,
robust, and accurate solutions

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in
determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited
to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and
competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location,
education and certifications as well as contract provisions
regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The
pay range for this position is :
$133,145.00 - $226,347.00
