Job Description:

TRC Professional Solutions is seeking for an Enterprise Solution Architect. As a business-minded Solution Architect, you will evaluate business needs across multiple departments including Marketing, Sales, R&D, Services, ETS, etc.
Responsibilities:Drives solutioning with the business to solve business problems and create a technical strategy to meet identified business goals.Lead brainstorming sessions to identify solutions for business needs or problems.Major participant in demand and planning management conversationsCreates solution architecture diagrams, prototypes, reports and other design artifacts representing the approach and effect of proposed solution.May be required to be hands on at every phase of a project, including visioning, planning, design, development, testing and deployment.Experience in agile delivery management utilizing onshore and offshore teams.Establish Solution Architecture Center of Excellence with the goal of facilitating continuous improvement in identifying, developing and communicating solutions.Leads and/or participates on executing design and delivery with teams on multiple and diverse application disciplines on a variety of platforms.Collaborates closely project teams and participates in execution phase to deliver conceptualized solutions.Translates the business client's requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for complex solutions and enabling platforms.Establishes, refines and communicates ETS architecture standards, practices, reference models and solution patterns with focus on application and system architecture elements.Leads the selection of methodologies, tools, and components of total IT solutions including reviewing cost and feasibility of requests while ensure the plan supports the strategic needs of the organization as a whole.Provide mentorship and guidance to on-shore and off-shore teammates.Mentors less experienced teammates to build technical expertise.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent10+years of experience in development with a focus on solution architecture or an equivalent combination of education and work experience10+years of experience leading in the design and implementation of application, integration and data architecture.7+ years' experience leading/mentoring more junior staff members5+ years' experience interfacing and partnering with vendors.7+years' experience driving strategy/roadmap and planning.
Preferred Skills:Proven record of accomplishments in major enterprise level projects for multiple business functions (Marketing Sales, Operations, Finance, etc.)Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.Proven experience with both waterfall and agile methodologiesSolid understanding of architecture principlesDemonstrated knowledge of Microsoft development platform suite (SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS, Visual Studio, Power BI)Demonstrated knowledge of various vendor solutions like Salesforce.com, Great Plains, Workday, MuleSoft or equivalentDemonstrated knowledge of various case and code management toolsets like JIRA, Bitbucket, GIT or equivalent
