privately held telecommunications engineering and construction
company that specializes in fiber optic internet infrastructure
deployments. Our corporate office is in Buford, Georgia with

GA office.Position OverviewThe Accounts Payable Specialist serves
as a key team member in the organization's financial processes.
With minimal supervision, this position performs a variety of tasks
to support the following business areas: accounts receivable,
accounts payable and asset management. This position reports to the
Controller and Accounting Manager.Duties & Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Enter vendor bills & credit card
statements to include proper job allocation costs adhering to GAAP
requirementsProcess credit card receipts utilizing Foreceipt system
weeklyUpload credit card transactions to cardholder drives
weeklyScan all vendor payments and back-up to drive weekly (Ensure
back-up adheres to audit requirements)Maintain Subcontractor COI
reports in accounting system and coordinate with Operations to
identify complianceCreate vendor purchase orders as neededProcess
vendor bill payments weekly with the approval of
ControllerAdministrative Duties
Maintain electronic filing
systemContribute to the month-end close processAll other duties as
assigned by Controller/Accounting ManagerAssist with accounts
receivable duties and responsibilities -Other projects or duties as
assignedRequirements
Minimum of 5 years in similar
accounting role (construction or similar industry)Able to perform
accounting functions in accordance with Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policiesSage Intacct or
Quickbooks or other similar software experience preferredExperience
in Excel and Google Drives and Google Docs preferredPhysical
Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk
and working on a computerMay experience long hours of standing and
movingMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times - - - All
