Join us.General Summary:Unum Group seeks an Assistant Vice
President, Data and Analytics in Atlanta, GA. The Assistant Vice
President, Data and Analytics applies principles of mathematical
and statistical modeling, systems engineering, and data analytics
to the development, analysis and interpretation of data, develops
analytical frameworks, and leads data analytics projects working
with actuarial, finance and other internal/external business
partners to help optimize business performance. Specific core
duties and responsibilities include definition of data, analytics
and systems engineering strategy, methodologies, and tools
supporting product, technology, digital adoption, UX, and other
data and analytics and systems engineering projects; defining,
developing and implementing best practices in support of data
analytics and systems engineering projects to drive consistency and
standardization of data usage and analytics practices across the
enterprise, including establishing digital/web analytics
frameworks; overseeing construction of predictive models to explain
and understand observed events, forecast expected behavior, or
identify risk through scoring or clustering; collaborating with
managers, subject matter experts, and others to translate business
needs into a quantitative framework, identify available data,
communicate findings and results, and define implementation
strategies; understanding theory and application of current and
emerging statistical and systems engineering methods and tools to
drive and recommend continuous improvement opportunities;
collaborating on data transformation, integration, and reporting
with both technical and non-technical audiences; data profiling,
data, analysis, data modeling, and evaluation of data sourcing;
formulating and reformulating complex, flexible mathematical or
simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables,
restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their
numerical parameters; overseeing validation and testing of data
models to ensure adequacy; and applying statistical, simulation and
data mining methods to perform data analytics functions. Position
requires Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science,
Industrial Engineering or a related field; 5 years of experience;
and the following proficiencies/skills: data analytics for
marketing, portfolio management and product development in
enterprise scale applications; data analytics platforms such Google
Analytics or Adobe Analytics; data warehouse concepts; data clouds
like Amazon AWS or BigQuery; clickstream data; digital analytics
implementation, tag management systems and/or data integrations;
multi-channel and cross-channel data attribution; creating and
driving quantifiable metrics/KPIs and leveraging consumer data to
find quality customers to acquire, engage, retain and reactivate
through different marketing channels; digital marketing technology
like CMS, CDP, DMP, Analytics and Personalization; and tag
management tools like Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Adobe Launch,
Ensighten or similar. This position is based at the Unum Atlanta
office with the option to telecommute from home within normal

base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below.
Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description,
actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and
experience.$126,800.00-$247,300.00Additionally, Unum offers a
portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and
comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision,
dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability),
performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k)
retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional
4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not. - All
