SUMMARY To coordinate the timely credentialing and enrollment processes for employed providers in accordance with the standards of all applicable accrediting and regulatory agencies (JCAHO, HCFA, other) as well as the Grady Health System Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations and Grady Health System policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED Minimum three (3) years of experience with credentialing and enrollment in a hospital, medical office or managed care setting and administrative support experience in a business office or preferably a health care environment or Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Management in lieu of experience Knowledge of State and Federal, JCAHO and NCQA regulatory standards and policies required Ability to compose and organize written documents and reports that are comprised of large amounts of data using Microsoft Office and Excel Must work with a great attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Ability to develop and implement methods and procedures for improvement Must be able to work with time constraints, prioritize projects and multi-task Certified Credentialing Specialist Certification preferred CPCS certification required within one year of meeting qualifications
