PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking an Assembler to work at the Norcross, GA Honeywell Location.Summary:--- Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.Key Responsibilities:--- Operate assigned equipment.--- Participate in continuous improvement activities.--- Support the Honeywell Operating System--- Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness--- Comply with all safety rules.--- Record and report production data.--- Analyze data and production reports--- Set up and change over equipment--- Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations. T--- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.--- Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.--- Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.Subco Bonus Program to 3k, and a change in the pay-out structure:--- $1k at 14 days w/perfect attendance;--- $1k at 60 days--- $1k at 90 days to get 60 and 90 day bonus; worker must have received 14 day bonus. Qualifications / Skills:YOU MUST HAVE--- High School Diploma or GED--- Minimum 6 months Soldering experience required--- May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.--- May require 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.--- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
