Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI) is looking for an ambitious and outgoing Business Development Specialist with a strong background in new business development strategies and marketing, identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities, etc., to launch new products developed by Ricoh Industrial Solutions (RIS) . Backed by decades of expertise in development and manufacturing, Ricoh's new solution will deliver a new value proposition that includes process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and waste reduction. The Business Development Specialist will use their experience and business acumen to identify ways to promote RIS' new industrial digital solutions. This position shares responsibilities with Marketing and Technical Sales. Key activities include but are not limited to developing new business opportunities, communicating customer requests with the rest of the team and management, and supporting the sales team to gain purchase orders. The Business Development Specialist will be a crucial player in assisting with a smooth and successful launch of new business at Ricoh . The role will allow an employee to work remotely but will also require on-site work based on business needs (especially during training). Job Requirements:Business Development Specialist Responsibilities Include: -

Identify opportunities for new business development toward sustained growth. Liaising with Sales, Marketing, and Management to align strategies aimed at increasing profitability. Quality sales leads captured by Marketing. Evaluate and improve sales, marketing, and branding strategies. Perform competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share. Develop client relationships and strengthen industry partnerships. Identifying new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities. Work with Technical Sales to negotiate, close business deals, and deliver necessary solutions. May require up to 30% travel. - Business Development Specialist Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
  • 2+ years of business development and/or channel development sales experience in a B2B environment, required.
  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
  • Must have a working knowledge of marketing practices and principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal skills required.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
