EagleView provides the most accurate data, enabling customers in the government, construction, solar and insurance industries to make timely, informed and better decisions.OverviewReporting to the VP, the Solution Architect is responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision across a Solution Train to help ensure the system or Solution under development is fit for its intended purpose. In this role you will ensure that the business process and technology perspectives are in line with the governance strategies, policies and standards. Backed by an architecture upfront culture you will be empowered by our process and our leadership to use your influence and experience to guide decisions, projects, and technology teams from architectural standpoint towards the common goals and standards of the organization, adjusting when necessary to meet business objectives. You will closely collaborate with engineering and product leadership to strike the best balance of value and technical debt. - -The role requires that you collaborate across the business with stakeholders, engineering teams, product management, customers, suppliers, and third-party partners. You will work to define the EagleView's technology infrastructure, decomposing solutions, and systems into components and subsystems, and defining and managing their interfaces and APIs. While providing a general view of solution architecture, you will be required to enable those who implement value by empowering them to make local decisions, allowing faster flow of work and improved efficiency when delivering incremental value.Eagleview is a transforming company with ambitious market objectives.   • Using effective communication, collaboration, and influence, build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Translate and present complex technical concepts as easy-to-understand goals and designs for any audience
  • Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent including elements such as current state, future state, nonfunctional requirements and other architecture standards and compliance constraints as needed
  • Assess the systems architecture currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it
  • Continually researching current & emerging technologies and propose changes when needed
  • Inform various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented
  • Resolving technical problems as they arise while providing coaching and guidance to development teams
  • Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have and operate within an economic framework when analyzing design decisions, balancing value, and technical debt
  • Assist in establishing an IT and software architecture practice and governance through the adoption of standards & processes -
  • Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems and software architecture
  • Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of solution alternatives
  • Establish critical nonfunctional requirements for the solution and participate in the definition of others
  • Work with SAFe portfolio stakeholders to develop and execute enabler epics as part of the architecture runway in support of new business features and capabilities
  • Participate in Program Increment
  • Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt eventsQualifications
    • 4+ years of software development experience large solution architecture design and decision making
    • 8+ years experience coding in more than one - language, e.g. C#, Java, C++, GoLang, Python, etc
    • Experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, UI frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
    • Experience with All types of database technology (NoSQL, RDB and graph)
    • Experience with any of the leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google)
    • Container experience using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker
    • Experience designing and deploying RESTful API's, SaaS and Workflow Management solutions at scale
    • Practiced in designing for configurability, security, modularity and reuse
    • Proven record of making sound technical decisions in the face of ambiguity at scale
    • Object oriented programming fundamentals and understanding of software design patterns
    • Sound understanding of programming fundamentals and their application to highly scalable systems
    • Experience with Deep Learning with PyTorch or TensorFlow is a plus
    • Great problem-solving skills and ability to abstract functional requirements
    • Ability to quickly understand new software technology and how it could be applied
    • Ability to quickly understand legacy systems and functions with limited oversight -
    • Ability to balance value creation against technical debt when designing timely solutions to meet aggressive business goals
    • Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts
    • Experience designing and improving complex software applications
    • Experience coaching and mentoring developers at various levels of experience
