Summary:The Associate Product Team Lead (APTL) is the Associate
Product Owner and subject-matter expert (SME) for the product and
supports the development team in tasks that require knowledge about
the product and industry.Responsible for helping to lead product
direction, development and deployment aspects of the product
lifecycle including, but not limited to, release plans, product
requirements, design, documentation, training, implementation and
ongoing support. Aligns efforts with marketing, operations, and
development to ensure the product is meeting the demands of the
marketplace.. The APTL ensures the safety, quality and efficacy of
corporate software products as they relate to operation and
function within the client environment. The APTL coordinates
activities of the cross functional product team.Essential
Duties:Works with the cross-functional team to determine the
product release contents.Manages, prioritizes and grooms product
backlog.Creates detailed (Agile) users stories from product
requirements.Functional subject matter expert of product.Ensures
that product functionality is meeting the needs of the customer by
participating in market research including meeting with customer
and organizing and leading focus groups.Maintains product roadmaps
and requirements by facilitating the collation of industry demands
with internal departments and current and potential customers.Main
liaison between system implementation, development and customer
support staff regarding system functionality, system performance,
change requests, and/or system problems and complaints, and ensure
prompt response and follow up.May be responsible for or assist with
the assembly and submission documentation to a regulatory
agency.Mentors, assists and supervises the product team while
ensuring the product team meets all training required by
established procedures.Conducts or delegates product demos,
trainings and assists in the development of marketing
material.Participates in the preparation of responses to Request
for Information (RFI)s, Request for Proposal (RFP)s and Request For
Quotation (RFQ)s.Skill Sets:Strong verbal communication and
listening skillsStrong agile SDLC skills (e.g. grooming, story
writing)Demonstrated written communication skillsAbility to
lead/manage othersExperience in medical device (FDA regulated)
environmentTechnical aptitudeRequirements:Knowledge in Blood
Banking requiredKnowledge of SafeTrace Tx is highly desiredMedTech
experience highly desiredAbility to translate business and
technical requirements2-3 years experience working in an analyst
capacityMinimum: Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology / Clinical
