** Local Metro Atlanta area applicants only.At this time this job is 100% remote, you must reside in Atlanta. There is talk that it may stay 100% remote but it may end up being a blend of remote and onsite.
This is an indefinite contract they need somebody in this position every year on contract. Stay here as long as you like, as long as your performance is good.
Seeking an individual that has prior experience coordinating the distribution of equipment to employees . This particular job is for IT equipment. We are not looking for a technical person, we require a non technical person . You would be coordinating with external vendors to deliver laptops and wireless devices and have the vendors set up log in data for new employees, and contractors as they join the organization, and then collect and decommission when they leave.A big part of this job is tracking 1000's of devices and where the vendor is in their process with requests.
Who will be an ideal candidate?

  • You will have either worked in this capacity in a HR position, but there is no other function of HR. You will not be processing HR documents or anything like that. It is purely to organize and coordinate equipment needed.OR
    • Any one that has been an equipment coordinatorOR
      • Any one in logistics where they were constantly coordinating the needs of others for equipment needs of any kind.OR
        • An Assett managerOR
          • Office Manager Assistant tracking items
            Or smilar roles

            The duties and responsibilities will include:--- Receive and track onboard and offboard requests; check the requests for completeness and accuracy;--- Submit requests for Office 365 email and local Active Directory (AD) accounts for new hires through Remedy system;--- Requests the setup and delivery of equipment or wireless devices;--- Coordinate with application teams for additional application access requests;--- Track progress of requests to completion and escalate to vendors and management as needed;\.--- Review accounts for accuracy of provision or deprovision based on requests;--- Test new accounts upon creation for successful login to equipment, network, home drives, office 365 email, and remote VPN;--- Confirm onboard accounts are assigned group memberships, network drives, and Remedy profiles as requested;--- Verify group memberships, network drives, and Remedy profiles are disabled for offboards;--- Communicate status of processed onboard or offboard requests to hiring managers;--- --- Resolve requests within SLA while providing the highest level of customer service;--- Display a consistent understanding of compliance in order to assist in high priority escalations and requests; --- Cadence structure and reporting to OIT Leadership on a weekly basis.
            Qualifications & Skills Required:--- Associate degree in a related field or minimum 2+ years of help desk support--- One-year proven experience with Office 365 Pro Plus core applications as a user--- Experience with Remedy or other Enterprise ticketing systems--- Experience with Okta Integration is a plus--- Minimum 2+ years proficiency with excel spreadsheets, including formulas and reporting--- Minimum 2+ years proven experience working effectively with a diverse team in a highly visible, fast-paced and changing environment with occasional aggressive timelines--- Capable of working competently with personnel at multiple levels of the organization--- Experience in performing well under pressure--- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication
