Job Description:

The Business Development Director/Lead is responsible for all accounts, prospects and existing customers, for the purpose of selling ACS products and services. In addition to regional responsibilities the position has an overlay function to drive business development of focused solutions across the North American market region. In this capacity, the Business Development Director/Lead will coordinate with regional Sales Directors to build a "go to market" strategy and specific account strategies to build and execute on new pipeline. The position is remote, with frequent travel to our office in Norcross, Georgia. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a quality pipeline of ACS products and services.
  • Identify new opportunities and advance known opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Build a go to market strategy for the designated overlay solutions, including target sectors, target accounts. Support the regional team to execute against the strategy.
  • Identify key accounts and build multi-year account strategy to maximize spend with ACS.
  • Engage and develop influential relationships with consultants and analysts to increase market awareness for ACS solutions.
  • Work with ACS and Minsait marketing teams to execute campaigns to increase lead generation.
  • Support RFP responses by coordinating across various internal and external partners and acting as the quarter back through the process.
  • Lead development and execution of capture strategies between customer and ACS and between ACS and project partners.
  • Support the financial analysis and modeling of the project benefits to support customer justification.
  • Support transition of secured contracts to delivery team. Requirements:
    • BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Minimum of five years direct marketing, sales, and contracting experience around OT/IT solutions to Utilities. Knowledge of Electric Utility network OT and IT systems and business processes preferred.
    • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
    • Ability to effectively present information to public groups, C-level management, and/or boards of directors.
    • Ability to integrate and work across multiple company & partner functions
    • Experience with projects in Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) landscapes preferred.
    • Ability to build a network of relationships with industry executives and associations within the assigned region is preferred.
