The Digital Communications Specialist will also develop, write and edit new content for a variety of platforms and collateral materials including: fact sheets, articles, reports, and web pages. The Digital Communications Specialist (DCSP) II provides subject matter expertise in digital communications in a variety of project areas.ResponsibilitiesCreate communications for internal departments and with participating providers in the NetworkConduct online market researchTranslate medical and health information to providers utilizing digital mediaPlan, create and organize visual presentations or graphic illustrationsProvide written and oral communications to present information in a clear, concise, and understandable medium to various target audiencesMaintain social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram Establish priorities for social media content and disseminationProvide guidance and expertise for developing, testing, and disseminating science- and audience-based products, tools, and messagesServe as a technical resource to assess, plan, develop, coordinate and evaluate translation and dissemination of network and program information Conduct audience research and program evaluation activities for health communication and marketingApply audience research results to message developmentProvide advice and technical assistance in planning and developing communication and marketing priorities, campaigns, strategies, and practices for effective communication and marketingCreate communication plans and ensure strategies meet communication objectivesQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Public Health or Health Administration or related Master's Degree Preferred4 years of previous experience in provider and/or network communications4 years of digital communication and social media experienceExperience with provider relationsAbility to produce high quality deliverables in a fast paced environmentEnsure communication activities are based on accepted principles, methods, and best practicesExperience applying social media marketing practices to mass communicationsExperience with 508 compliance preferred Well-versed in Microsoft Office productsExperience with Multimedia Design software such as Adobe Creative CloudProficient in social media content creation, management, and evaluationPM18PI153465868
